Marshal’s 1st Meeting: Stingers Tues
March 8, 2022  - 7:00 PM 
Marshals Follow up Meeting: R Park Tavern
Tues  March 29, 2022 -  7:00 PM 

PARADE ROUTE ending at Front and Dock St

Vehicle check in point is 
Schuylkill Ave.(30th St) & JFK Blvd
.

Update Mailing list and contact sheet, pass out current and make changes.

Hand out assignments, badges, and tickets, captain’s reports

Explain Barricades on JFK. We put them up.

Buses to go Columbus Blvd.

Explain staging and bus pick up.

Explain keep Middle of JFK open for Emergency Vehicles

Explain end of parade now at Front & Market Sts. Push end of Parade

Emphasize safety and explain duties

EMS is located at 16th & JFK and 6th & Market

Signs will be up on street corners.

Captain’s reports due at end of parade.

Captain meeting at 16th&JFK  10:00 AM

All large vehicles parked on JFK 10:00 AM!

Cars or busses not in parade go to Columbus Blvd.

Need marshals to keep divisions close at reviewing stand.

Move dancer's parents forward to right

No Political, vehicle, and offensive signs

Phila Fire trucks on Arch st. at 16th St facing West
  

No throwing anything

Performing groups are dancers and or singers only.

All groups with bands must go through

Homeland Security needs registration prior or they are not allowing vehicles in the parade.

Insurance Certificates on windshields

All marshals must come by me and keep on going to Front St

Walkers at Stands do not stand in the way

AIRHORN  5 short blasts means 5 minutes to go, 1 long blast is GO!

BEFORE each Division reaches reviewing stand, CAPTAIN must
see Kevin Hassett or COLIN BRADLEY to go over changes for TV and Announcer.
Do not call me, you cannot hear at reviewing stand!
Marshals must push each group all the way up TO DOCK STREET.
Do not stop when you reach reviewing stand!!!
Insurance certificates on dashboards of all vehicles.
No throwing candy from vehicles, must hand out!
Block off front and rear of your divisions with police barricades.
Use Market and Arch Streets to drop off marchers.  
SECURITY, SAFETY AND COMMON SENSE:
Keep middle lane of JFK BLVD.  clear of all vehicles.  

FINAL MOST IMPORTANT ITEMS:

IF THERE IS CONFUSION AND NO CAPTAIN AROUND, SAFETY COMES FIRST!!!!!  NO ONE MOVES A TRUCK WITHOUT 3 MARSHALS, 1 FRONT, 1 IN REAR, 1 WITH DRIVER.  IF THERE IS ANY DANGER, LEAVE IT THERE, AND LET THEM WALK OR BE OUT OF ORDER.
